Nothing but cheap jewelry on this site and a bunch of stuff that they ship form overseas and charge you outrageous freight charges.

Most items can't be bought with $50 GC.
I logged in but don't see my $50 anywhere.
Maybe they require cc info before $50 is issued???

Is this place a scam? I see tons of auctions for shady replica watches, info on where to buy stuff, etc. Has anybody purchased anything through these guys? I am scared to even give them my cc info.....:(

*** EDIT** I though this place was like Ubid, but it really is like E bay. I don't know how the gift certificate works, but you place a bid and then end up paying the seller direct. The problem is that all of the sellers have very little or no feedback, and they all seem to use hotmail accounts, etc. Highly suspicious...

I just got through with no problem.

I was gonna C&P a few pages, but I think it would be easier if people checked the restrictions at Info

Sounds pretty good to me if you can get a $50(?) piece of jewelry for $8.95.

Thanks, Southerncentralrain!

Well, I guess I will be a guinea pig. I just won an auction for a 14k bracelet which should cost me about $58 delivered after the gift certificate. The bracelet weighs over 15 grams, so that works out to about $3 a gram for 14k, which is a smoking deal....14k usually goes for >$10 a gram.....we will see if they come through....:)

The top 8 reasons I don't trust this:

8. Prices too good to be true.
7. GC valid only on "Bidz gaurenteed" auctions.
But, can't find an explanation of what makes an auction a
"Bidz gaurenteed" auction.
6. There are very few items that the GC can be applied to.
5. Many of the "auctions" are just adds for straight sale items.
4. There is a link to an online casino integrated into thier homepage.
3. The registration form is not secured.
2. Most stuff is jewlery from eastern Europe. And the GC may not be used on international items.
1. After 2 days on the AT board they are still giving away $50.

Either this is site is being used by eastern Europeans to sell thier priceless heirlooms for quick cash, or it is being used by eastern European mobsters to get American dollars for hot items and possibly to launder money.

Until I become convinced this is a legitimate business I will pass this hot deal by.

They can't be too much of a scam since they have the BBBonline reliability seal which has some fairly stringent requirements....
