WONDERFUL! The brasserie is one of my favorite places to eat! Yeah its french but even I (a 3 burger a day guy) like it - plus its within walking distance from Lincoln center, where after a three hour long standing room only opera you nee dto sit down and have a good meal.

I used this coupon during their last promotion. It was great. I do not recommend Sea Grill though, it was still overpriced after you knocked of $50.

Good deal again. I used this last time at Nick and Stefs's but wouldn't recommend going to that resturaunt. I was told it was a good place by a friend so we go. The cuts of steak were horrible, completely fatty. I was wondering since I used the certificate, did they give us 2 bad pieces on purpose? Definatey going to check out Brasiere this time around.

Thanks. It's simple and short.

Anyone else been to any of these restaurants?

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you essentially make 6 different reservations, print out the coupon 6 times, and go to all 6 restaurants?? ... food for thought (no pun intended)...

Except for the Sea Grill, I've eaten at all of the restaurants participating in this deal. Here's how I would rank them, with the best on top.

Brasserie 8.5
Tropica / Nick & Stef's
Cafe Centro
Rock Center Cafe

Rock Center Cafe is way down on my list. I really didn't like Cafe Centro, either.

Brasserie 8.5 is by far the best of the ones I went to on this list. I had this really good rib dish that involved bone marrow. There wasn't very much bone marrow in the meal, but I mention the bone marrow part so that you can recognize it on the menu.

My understanding is that the Sea Grill is even better than Brasserie 8.5.

Finally, at least at the Sea Grill, you should be sure to make your reservation in advance. They only accept a limited amount of Dine Out NY certificates each night. When I tried to go there, I couldn't make a reservation until about 4-5 days out.

Couldn't get thru site late last night, and this morning either. Looks like their server has been flooded.
