The rebate clearly states that Staples.com is part of the rebate. The usage of Staples stores only, is to keep people from buying at another store and trying to get the rebate.

One reason I really like Paperport is because I can easily make copies of all my rebate information and keep it stored in an easy to find place.

After I got an order confirmation for my .com order I went to the Staples B&M in Albuquerque and had them match it. My walk out the door price after tax was $100.39 for the 4400 and the PaperPort 7 -- which with the $100 in rebates on the two items comes to a final price of 39 cents for a good scanner. I then canceled the .com order when I got home. Use one of the $30.00 coupons.

Can some give me a review? I have a Canon 620U and I am looking at this Visioneer 4400 and wondering is it worth keeping. I believe the Visioneer doesn't use the stupid EIDE scanning mechanisim, so the picture quality should be better. I had a Visioneer 3000 as my first scanner and it was excellent but how is the 4400?

Have you try to look for the rebate under Staples.com's Website.
Go to their rebate section to find the rebate.
I file mine on line.
