I signed up with the $50 SuperCertificate bonus offer on Dec. 18. Called on Jan. 17 to inquire, they said it was taking about six weeks. Called on Jan. 31 to inquire, this time I got a fundamentally differenct answer, and it made me angry. They said the order had been given to SuperCertificate the day I had signed up and they would initiate a trace which would take three weeks. Later that day, I received e-mail notification for two sign up bonuses from supercertificates. I had signed up for more than one account since I have more than one phone line. On Feb. 5, I received an e-mail saying the two notices were in error, that they had been cancelled, and that a new, single certificate would arrive within 48 hours.

I have replied with e-amil asking SuperCertifictes when I can expect the bonus for signing up on the additional accounts.

When I do get all the bonuses, my intention is to file disputes with my CC company for all billing which covers service past the three week allowance for the superCertificate to arrive. I have screen shots of the order confirmation page with the "Please allow three weeks for special gift" adorning the upper left corner. I haven't used any of the AT&T accounts. Their rates can't beat net2phonedirect's 3.9 cents/min. This should make for a noble battle: me against AT&T x 4. If, at some point, depending on the availability of competing offers, the bonuses haven't come through, my attempt would be to dispute any and all AT&T charges. At this point, I am willing to continue to wait.

I signed up and got the $50 GC a week later and I also got a $40 check in the mail so I called them and told them I wanted the $40 check deal and I ended up getting both total of $90 for switching over. Didnt get one penny from MCI they are losers there will never deal with them again.

wow..AT&T is just as incompetent as MCI,,some of us get the deal, some get a BETTER deal than usual, and some get nothing!!

So now that it's Feb 7th, and the ATT deals are dead, what else can we do?
Essential won't let me switch back yet. I need to get out of the MCI $9.00+
minimum monthly charges quick...

I waited 8 weeks after I signed up for the $50 Amazon GC and nothing ever came. I emailed CS and they told me to wait 3 more weeks while a "specialist" reviews the situation. I wait 4 more weeks (patiently) for a response and nothing ever came. I emailed them a few days ago and they sent me an email saying they needed to send it to a "specialist" and it should be another 4 weeks before I here something. I have asked them for a number that I could call a "specialist" and sort this thing out. I'll let you know what happens.
