william and mary and harvard were originally seminaries when they were founded. when penn was founded it was an academic institution with multiple divisions, the definition of 'universty'; thus, america's first university.

A good idea for anyone signing up for this might be to actually read the page at the original poster's link about the Fisher project. It tells you what to do in the conversations, how long they last, how many there will be along with a contact number if you have questions.
