Actually, though, I followed your link and did not see anything regarding a free 10-day pass at all.
 
Stern to start streaming by Fathers day.

I have both Sirius and XM. I never listen to XM but I got it for $3 a month when I called to cancel. Discounting by $10 to keep me as a subscriber? Seems pretty desperate to me.
 
Stern's been great lately. I can't wait until they start the internet streaming... 🙂
 
Does Sirus have a live portable unit yet or do they still have that recorded portable unit that is the size of the small vehicle?

Oh and BTW O&A Party Rock. Stern is a washed up old man and should run in front of a bus. IMHO

I love Sat radio..I have had for 2.5yrs...

My wife loves Stern...:Q

I have subscriptions..my car and the S50 with a home dock

the S50 is the so called portable but it is not truly portable unit as it has no antennae on it..so it needs to be docked in the car or home dock

but we love the fact she can use it in the car or home
 
Don't forget Playboy is free with Sirius. Didn't you use to have to pay extra for it when it was with XM?


My take on Sirius vs. XM
Sirius definitely has the talk radio advantage with more star power.

XM is slightly better with music (especially underground or non-mainstream type stuff)
 
They did announce that they will have Stern internet streaming in June, and a portable unit sometime this summer. O&A vs Stern? Just listen to the show you like... Or both... But, I have found it humorous that XM doesn't even have them as a "feature" in their Best Buy and CC ads... Even XM doesn't think they're stars... 🙂

Not to mention that XM gives away their "exclusive" O&A content on terresterial radio and DirecTV. One literally has to jump through hoops to avoid O&A's show and millions of people manage to do this on a daily basis.

Artie rocks on sat. The whole show has vastly improved.

Think about how subscriptions work. Of course they want to keep you, no matter what the cost is. Since there is NO extra cost to broadcast to you (since it's a satellite, not a landline phone or cable company that has to support your lines), they'd rather keep you for $3/month than lose 1 more subscriber.

Blasted Sirius. I work at a call center known as Stream and I originally signed up to be on the Sirius contract. (MANY companies outsource their call centers to other private business') Yet, at the last minute I got switched over to the Wellcare contract to take calls for Seniors angry about not getting their drugs. Those guys get Sirius Hats, mouse pads, a stretchy pulling thing to put their ID's on with the logo, ect. The Wellcare contract sucks and gets NONE of that stuff. So yeah, Sirius sucks. Or rather, Stream sucks for placing me in the worst call center contract imaginable. I guess this topic kind'a went of topic, but I just had to let it out. Please ignore. 🙂
