For one month free of DVD rentals go to NetFlix.com and use the code 23430715. This is for new customers only. If you don't want to continue their service be sure to click to cancel before 30 days are up

When u create an account with them, you will see an option of cancelling it online. You have to be very careful though. If you don't do it before 30 days, the cancellation is not pro-rated and you will be charged for the whole month.

Very simple cancel, I did this last year when you could keep 4 at a time. I really liked the service, being in central coastal California it was only 2 days each way, but I started watching too many movies. I hear right coasters complaining though since the it is more like 4 or 5 days each way since the Netflix distribution center is in San Jose.

How is this a hot deal? Netflix offers one month for free all of the time without the code. I suspect the code is only used for marketing tracking purposes.

The best netflix deal i've seen before this was $10 off the first month.

I'll drop it after 30 days. It's too much of a pain. if you pick movies out today, you won't get them for 4-5 days (if you're east)

For $20, i can rent ~5-6 dvds at blockbuster without waiting. i doubt you'll get many more than that per month with netflix.

I tried netflix last year for the 30 day free trial, works just fine, and when I cancel

it after 28 days, no problem. They didn't charge me.

The only matter I figured out is the time it takes to arrive you. I live in the

midwest, so, 4-5 days. They won't send you more until they receive the old ones back.

So I end up to watch the movie once I receive it, and next morning mail it back.

I watched 14 movies that month, do the math, if you rent it in blockbuster, it cost

more than $50 to rent 14 DVDs.

I turned out to be very tired then, no time to do anything but watching movie, so I

cancel it.

Anothing think I do not like is that sometimes the new release goes out of stock too

fast and you never can grab one untill the first round ends.

They had a special at the BB in my area (NYC) to rent up to 30 DVDs in one month for 20 bux.. not a bad deal at all.. Wish they had this deal when I was stuck home from surgery.

I can't see why anyone would want to cancel Netflix...even with Blockbuster's deals, their selection SUCKS compared to Netflix's. Netflix is a great value. Also, Blockbuster sucks period....they want to force the major studios TO RAISE PRICES on newly released DVD's, thus creating a rental only market for new relaeses, just like VHS. Click here for details.

Dammit. I just joined NetFlix earlier this week! I'll have to pass this deal on to some of my friend though.

Even though Netflix has a bigger selection, most of their stuff are out of stock.. At one time, I had 11 things in my queue, and only 2 were in stock.

I was quite impress with the first dvd i got from them, took only 2 days to ship to NYC, but after that, 4-5 days each.

I am canceling before the end of the trial period.

Netflix is OK, but many of their popular titles are out-of-stock for weeks at a time. In fact the first movie I put in my list didn't ship for two months! Living is Seattle, turnaround time is kind of slow in my opinion. Even so, for $20 per month, I can comfortably watch 6 to 10 movies per months, which comes out to $2 or $3 per rental. I can also make perfect copies to videotape because I use a little macrovision defeater with my my computer DVD and Hollywood Plus decoder card.

to bad I signed on for 10 off 1st month, free is better.I aggree it is just ok faster shipments would work better maybe an east coast center would do the trick, anyway I like the convience of not rushing to return them.

My experience has not been that good either. Could, all in all, view around 14 movies in two months. For $40 comes around $3/movie which is approx what one would expect to pay at the local rental place.Don't need to wait for a week nor have it out of stock for weeks!

Personally I like DVDOvernight.com, they're in PA so it only takes 2 days to me. Plus no membership fee and they carry adult films.

I'll give netflicks a try for a free month, can't hurt.

You can only cancel Netflix after they receive the last DVD out. It's the tricky part(Think why).

For macrovision disable device, many so called "color enhancer" do the same job, cost ~$40, can be hooked up with VCR and DVD, and you can make copy what ever you want.

Netflix doesn't appear to have any e-mail addresses or even phone numbers. I guess they want to save money on customer service. To add insult to injury, when I put certain movies in my rental que, such as "The Virgin Suicides," it used to just say "out of stock," it now says: "Very long wait." What the...

Netflix better wise up and buy more copies of certain movies. If they end up with too many copies after the hot rental period, they can always sell them as used.

SimMike2. LOL. Good One. =)

Yeah. Netflix used to be the sh*tz when they were starting out and nobody heard of it. Image every new release, every old release, every foreign film, every adult film, every anime film was IN STOCK.... And being that I live very close to their San Jose HQ, I got the movie the very next day every time. I onced rented 30 DVDs in one month cuz of that. Get together DVD marathon every night! :)

Fast forward 6 months. Netflix got too big too fast. Everything is OUT OF STOCK, no more overnight delivery. Still haven't received Coyote Ugly, which is on top of my queue, for two months now. Netflix is suck!

I still use them because of their delivery method. I get movie in mail box, drop off at mail box. Everytime is done thru the mail. I don't have to go to Blockbuster to rent and go back to return. Plus again they have the biggest selection than any rental place, now only if they can have them IN STOCK.
