Freaky, but serious

So anyways, I'm back home tonight, and first thing after dinner that I'm told to do is fix the internet. I'm sitting there for like 3 or 4 hours (tv is right next to it so I kept on getting distracted, and plus it was going real slow). Anyways, Everything starts working, and I start browsing the internet, and I'm trying to look up when the F1 races are on, when all of a sudden my brother (who was in a deep sleep) gets up, and runs towards me from where he was sleeping (about ten meters away) and saying something like: "it's late, it's late".

My dad, who was also watching tv, not 2 meters from where he was sleeping, runs up to him, and I was right next to my brother anyways, and we both were just looking weird at him. He does occasionally sleep talk, and I asked my mother, and she said this was the first time that he did something like this (he is 12 and still sleeps in my parents room, because he scared).

I need serious advice on this, what should I advice my parents to do? I am worried that one night he might walk out of a door or something, and am really scared. Any one have any similar experiences?

when i was younger my sister used to sleep walk/talk. one time she was coming right at me zombie-like, so i clocked her in the side of the head with my pillow. she woke up disoriented and i got in trouble. oh well, her bad.

heh - my brother used to sleepwalk when we were younger. he'd wake up in the middle of the night saying "i can't find it! i can't find it!" and looking extremely distraught and frantic. it was actually pretty creepy.

he ended up getting some kind of therapy - hypnosis i believe. in the end the quack found out that all the trouble was over my bro missing a hockey elbow pad.

check to see if something is bothering your bro - could even be something he doesn't know about (subconscious ie. elbow pad) or isn't willing to talk about openly. good luck - hopefully your brother doesn't do a swan dive from the top of the stairs like mine did (he was ok).

One of those "My mistake, your fault" things.

I apparently talk in my sleep though I have no idea what I'm saying. I to confirm this, I stayed at my cousin's house one night and since there was no where to sleep, they put a bed on the floor in his room and when I finally woke up (he arrived at 3 and went to sleep at 12) he said I was talking in my sleep. I asked him what I said and he said I mumbled incoherently...

my cousin does it also. that image will forever haunt me.

I sleepwalked once when I was 14, I apparently walked down to my parents and told them "I have to get to the third level" and then turned around and walked up to my room and went to bed again. Weird.

lmao...did you jump inside or was it just a walk?

I don't think that I've done any sleep[$action] in quite some time... I used to when I was younger though.

I remember one day waking up and finding out I had cooked a huge meal in my sleep... 😱
