He was actually one of the most productive hitters in the AL this year. His performance during the opening play-off game earned Frank the stat of being the oldest player to hit a multi-homerun game in the MLB post season.

It took him a rather long career but is great to see him get a clutch hit or two.

It's kind of hard when you don't ever get to the playoffs...

It was classic to see the White Sox finally get to the World Series, and then win, all with Frank on the bench.

Scientific calculators not needed. ;)

He was hurt and still contributed when he came to the plate. 12 HR's in 100 AB's isn't bad at all...

They played better w/o him, which is why they let him go, and why they won the series. At some point in his career, probably after the first couple stellar years, he read his own press and thought he was god (since his stats were god-like). That's probably why his stats dropped so dramatically too, and he soon became a me-first cancerous prima-donna in the clubhouse.

I'm happy he's doing well in Oakland, altho its anything but revenge towards the Sox. They stuck with him as long as they possibly could, yet he either was playing like crap or was almost always injured. Yet he still felt owed at the end. Good riddance.
