The old guy shouldn't be in the jury, he presses 'no' because he doesn't like the music/singing, rather than at least acknowledging the talent and skills. It is a lot harder to sing in a gutteral voice than in a normal voice, and as the show claims to look for talent he could at least have admitted she has talent.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of that type of music, but it exists, and I think she does a great job of those type of vocals
 
The best part is the black guy (probably the lone black guy) is the one out of the entire audience that loves it the most.

I like it. She's hot because she likes metal. Not good metal, mind you, but at least it's metal. I'd introduce her to some King Diamond.
