Yeah, but the cost of Iraq war is much higher than the benefit to the US of removing Saddam, if any.
If you think we should have intervened in Rwanda, then you should be calling for us to go into Sudan today.

yes I think we should do something about the situation in Sudan. But since Bush has put and strained most of the US forces in Iraq, there isn't much the US can do at the moment which goes back to my cost/benefit comment, the cost might overstrain our military. It is also unfortunate that the rest of the world is quiet about this issue. The EU countries such as France could easily go in and handle the situation but they don't want to get involved. The UN doesn't think what is happening in Sudan is a genocide so they don't really want to get involved. Yet independent groups indicate that killings and rapes are going on. At most the UN will probably just slap sanctions on Sudan which won't help the people being driven from their homes or killed. The Arab world is also silent on the issue and isn't putting any pressure on Sudan to reel in its Arab militias who are involved in the killings.
