Frames per second, is this good?

I just installed a DVD player, my first. Never had one before. In installed the PowerDVD software that came with it; this included a diagnostic tool called System Diagostic which included benchmarking information. It indicates a frame rate of about 75 fps. Just curious. Is this good, fair, poor, etc.?

Running Win XP with an Athlon XP 2200, 512MB RAM, nVidia GeForce4 Ti4200 w/64MB.

I probably should have mentioned I tested the DVD player by inserting a DVD movie. It seems to play fine on my 17 inch monitor set at 1024x768 resolution and 16-bit color, my normal settings.

That may be true. I just discovered that the test result was simply reporting the refresh rate I had set for my monitor. Someone said they thought this is what it was and suggested I change my refresh rate and run the test again. I did and, sure enough, the fps reported was the same as the refresh rate I had set. I changed the refresh rate again and repeated the test; again, what it reported was the refresh rate.

Seems odd that the diagnostic tool labels this "fps".
