framed picture hanging on appartment walls.

Let's say you rent an appartment and want to hang framed picture or paintings on your walls. I've been told that you can't put any nails in the walls. How do you go about this then?

I would put up the picture, and before i move out i would make sure i patch it and paint it.

Just make the damn hole... don't worry about patching it... If they're anal enough to say no holes in walls... then they're anal enough to find SOME way to take your security deposit anyway... might as well get some bang for your buck.

Use an anchor screw if you are not nailing to the stud. Or, double sided tape/hook then use a hair dryer & knife to remove it when move.

...you could always just stand there and hold the picture frames yourself. Dont move or someone might notice, though.

I asked at my complex and they don't care if you put nails for frames in the wall.

funny . no it's not of her. I'm just thinking of the future. I currently still live at home.
