Fraiser

Did/does anyone watch this show? I just started watching it on Netflix. I remember my parents watching it as a kid growing up but I never payed attention. Pretty funny show. Supposedly,
it gets pretty bad after Niles and Daphne get together, but then it gets better at the end

Anyone else?

watched Cheers on/off
never got into Frasier, too high brow for me
I used to think that the jokes they made were so over the top...making cracks about wine quality and what not...but that is the joke. The fact that they make jokes about wine.

Yeah my parents always watched Frasier and I did too growing up. It was fun.

The "highbrow" jokes are in the same vein as the "nerdy" jokes on The Big Bang Theory. They're funnier if you don't understand them. And they always have to play off their blue collar dad.

Yeah Fraiser was a good show back in the day.

I liked the first few season of it, but it eventually just turned into Three's Company and I tuned out.

i never really liked Kelsey Grammer, something about him grates on my something
just can't get his vibe

I was ignorant for many years and assumed that the show wasn't that good. Then one day I gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. After watching a few episodes I got into it and found it really was a great show.

Great show compared to most current shows. My favorite episode was S3E16 "Look Before You Leap" where Frasier starts recommending to all that they try something new. In the process Martin survives a plane crash, Daphne has a stylist disaster and Frasier forgets the words to a song he is singing during a PBS telethon.

Hilarious ...

I just watched that one the other night... LOL definitely a favorite of mine so far. I am three seasons in....seven (eight?) more to go...

I still watch Frasier. Great show.

The episode where Martin pretends Niles is his boyfriend, holy crap. Saw that one recently.

Same for me, I really liked it and ended up watching all the episodes. I still catch it when it's on TV every now and then.

That show is in my top five sitcoms.
Even after it got weak towards the end, it was still miles ahead of almost anything out there.

Did you see the one when Frasier and Niles spent the entire episode sitting in Frasier's car in the parking garage blocking the exit trying to protest the $2 entry fee? D:

Hilarious! 😀

I'm a huge Frasier fan. It's one of the very few shows that has the capability to make me literally ROFL watching.

Exactly. A lot of people never saw the "these guys care about things that normal people wouldn't even think about" aspect, and therefore thought the show was too complicated for them.

I personally loved the show. Niles character was classic.
