Just wanted to express my anger.

But I'm cool.

I love my current rig, even if its single core, single channel memory, single hdd, single video card, single motherboard, single lan, and single monitor.

This time next year I will definitely be pimping Dual Monitor, Dual Hard Drive, Dual Channel, Dual (Double) Data Rate RAM and Dual machines (althought the second will only have single everything minus the RAM)
 
My next rig will have Dual harddrives, dual channel, Dual Data rate RAM and a Dual layer DVD burner. But thats about it i think.. Maybe dual T3 aswell though
 
I sent ED over at Overclcokers.com a similar email last year basically bitching about dual everything. Don't for get dual PSU's or at least one that costs $200 to power all that dual hardware.🙂

Computers are getting un-fun for the budget minded.

lol agreed, all this dual, quad, quin, bakers dozen bull is crazy, how many graphics cards, processors, cores do u need to play a game of Counter Strike, or to have a "decent" rig ???

lol, the sarcasm in this thread is killing me. 🙂

what's the point with dual monitors, it's not like you can look at one with each eye. For games, anyway, it makes no difference. As for the rest of the dual stuff, only dual HD's is really beneficial for me, everything else is good enough being single for now.
