I put a Noctua NF-A14 FLX 140mm Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan as a top exhaust fan on this case and am getting fairly loud vibration noise.

I disconnect the fan and all is quiet again.

I used the rubber mounts it came with, but what I notice with this case is the center of the fan touches right against the mesh at the top of the case.

I tried putting a small piece of an old mouse pad in-between it and the mesh in the center, but still the same vibration.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Is it the fan or the case? Have you tried to hold the fan vertical vice horizontal to see if the noise is still there? Did you try to remove the dust filter?

Normally Noctua fans are really quiet.

next thing would be to try rubber screw mounts...unless you have a rad hanging off the fans.

My Samsung F3 used to make any case i put it in vibrate in a way that sounded ominously unholy, until I suspended it from the drive bay using hair ties. Now it's as silent as the rest of them.

I found that no matter how I screwed it in, because the screws were rigidly connecting the drive to the case it would always vibrate.

If you really don't want to get a new fan you could try suspending it in a way that nothing solid is touching, but still close enough to provide effective airflow.

Something like these rubber screws.

Can you try mounting one of the Fractal fans to see if maybe the fan hole is off/slightly warped?
