FPS players! What is your button config?

Mine is set up for counterstrike because thats all i ever play

W = Forward
A = Strafe Left
D = Strafe Right
S = Backwards

F = Enter (move hostages, open doors)
Spacebar = Switch to secondary firing mode
Left Shift = Walk, because I have auto run

Mouse config

Left click = Fire
Right click = Jump
3rd click = Crouch
4th click = Spray paint
scroll up = next weapon
scroll down = previous weapon

d = drop flag
a = drop ammo
e = use item
q = fiegn death (spy)
w = fiegn silently
n = DET pack (Demo)

I have mouse look on, and do all my aiming and firing and steering control with my mouse. Shooters, I have NO idea how you play with your controls set up like that. It would drive me crazy

I don't play many FPS games anymore (I'm a Descent 3 fan) but whenever I play Half-Life or a related mod, I use this config:

A: Forward
Z: Backward
Left click: Fire
S: Alt. Fire
Right click: Jump
Middle click: Reload
Scroll: Change weapons
Shift: Strafe on
Alt: Walk on (stealth is my best friend)
C: Crouch
Space: Use
B: Buy (CS), Menu (all others)
F: Flashlight
R: Spraypaint

Mouse: Used for aiming and strafing. Inverted.


And here's my D3 config:

A: Forward
Z: Backward
Left click: Fire primary
Right click: Fire secondary
Middle click: Flare
Scroll up: Change primary
Scroll down: Change secondary
S: Afterburner
Shift: Slide on
Enter: Drop mine
Q: Bank left
E: Bank right

Mouse: Pitch/Yaw/Slide

Am I the only one that uses X for backwards instead of S? I hate having to switch my finger from W -> S and back all the time, it's so much easier to just keep my thumb on X...

Sec. Fire or Zoom : RMB
Forward : 8
Back : 2
Strafe Left : 4
Strafe Right : 6
Jump : Plus
Crouch : delete
Reload : ins
Weapon Switching : 7 and 9
Last Weapon Switch: *

Weapon Up/Down - Mouse Wheel Up/Down
Jump - CTRL
Reload - / or Windows Key
Crouch - Shift
Use - Space/Enter

That about sums it up I think. And yes, I do very well with those controls, quite well actually. And I usually have my mouse sensitivity up really high. And mouse look is *always* on.
