FPS capture the flag ?

Hi, I am complete FPS newbie. I just starting to like to play FPS because I like to play capture the flag lol............(I tried that in quake 2 and fall in love with it)

I want to ask, for the current new RTS game like Half-life 2, Doom 3 + expansion, Quake 3 + expansion if there is any or other new RTS game, which one of this game here has Capture the flag?

If any of this has CTF (capture the flag), can I make a team of real players vs a team of computer players when we lan?

The Unreal line has the best pure CTF action IMO as well.

Definitely. HL2 would NOT be teh way to go if you want quality CTF action. If you wanna try out a slower paced FPS then CS:S is your friend

Same here, I actually end up playing UT(99) CTF more than UT2004, although I still like UT2004 a lot.

Yeah I thought UT2k3 was too easy so I didn't bother with it. The next UT is supposed to be different.

What do you mean by too easy? I thought in the UT games you fght against other players across the internet? Do you mean the single player is too easy?

I played 155/55 LG ZP IG forever, but it just got too crappy on dialup for me to take anymore. And all the anti-hack crap just made it worse.

You have to understand, I've been playing FPS since the genre began, it's my favorite, and I'm very good at it. I found the weapons in UT to be very easy to kill someone with without much experience in the game yet.

Oh, you mean its noob friendly. Yeah I know what you mean, each CS update has slowly made teh game more newb friendly. Have you tried playing competitively? I'm not really familiar with the UT2k3 gaming scene but I'm sure there are a bunch of top notch players that play in some sort of league/organized ladder
