out with the dog today
she was tcb'ing, out by my shed
now the other night, i saw a copper blur, it was dark so..didnt know cat or what.
suspected fox, well so shes doing her thing and this red fox fires out fast (from under shed)as i ever seen any animal go before
i aint exaggerating when i say i heard him slice the air, like a bullet, maybe i am, maybe the sound was an impression in my mind but i think it was his tail whooshing.

big bastard too, maybe 10kg+
dog was obvilious per usual, thats prolly why i love her lots

Taking care of bizwiz (business), babalouie! Old line slang, it made a comeback in the 60's-70's for such things as making sure your Ho turned her earnings over to you, Jim . . . or that your jeans had enough sequins on them . . . you know, core stuff.

maybe the sound was an impression in my mind

I'm pretty sure this covers a lot of what you think you hear. ;) :p

(Ok, I realize I am wrong in my previous post ... usually it's brown foxes jumping over lazy dogs ... but in this case, it may not be a brown fox ... could be a red one!)

Red is sort of a "best fit" color description. A lot of red foxes could just as easily be described as brown, but it wouldn't convey the lightness/brightness of the fur. In this case, it's hard to tell without pictures, but I bet it was a brown fox. We already know they move quickly, so that's evidence in favor of it being brown. Perhaps spacemans dog isn't lazy enough.

or maybe it's one of the little purses dogs and wouldn't be a challenge to jump over?

a fox can hit 35mph running flat out. A VW Fox can do slightly better, going downhill with a trailing wind.
