Foxit reader

Using Xp:

I loaded foxit pdf reader and somehow made the my default pdf reader for both offline and online pdf docs.

I need to remove foxit (i have already re-assigned the extension to use Adobe to open them), but when I pull up an online page that has a pdf embedded, Foxit still is used.

I don't see it in Add/REmove programs & I don't see an entry for it in Start->Programs

any ideas?

I would suggest keeping Foxit, it's better imo.... To get rid of it though, you should be able to(in Firefox) go to Tools/Options/Applications, and set your preferences from there.

i would normally agree.. but it's a work PC & now, all of a sudden, i'm developing interactive adobe forms.

using IE 7 btw.

I'm not really familiar with IE7. Try going to Tools/Internet Options/Programs and poke around in there. You might be able to set Adobe up that way.

This is odd. The uninstaller shows up in both Add/Remove programs, and in the Start menu for me. You could try going to C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader, and see if it's uninstaller is there. And starting the uninstaller from there. Don't know if this would work, but might. Or how about re-installing Foxit reader, then uninstalling with the uninstaller now in place.
