Foxcomm nf4uk8aa socket 939 motherboard for $31.65 no reabate!!

I just read another review...there's apparently no CPU multiplier settings in the BIOS. Foxconn just did release a BIOS update on 4/26/06, but I can't find any info regarding improvements, etc.

Note that this is a bargin bin item, so it may be a return/open box. Read the terms before you buy.

Thanks for the heads up Nick! This is indeed bargin bin mobo which explains the super cheap price!!! CPU multiplier? Most AMD CPUs have there multiplier locked unless you lucky enough to have a special unlocked one which only very few do! I'm very tempted to pounce on this one because the factory 3 year warranty should still apply.

Anyone know if the latest BIOS for this motherboard solved the overclocking problems mentioned in the early reviews of this board most of which are over a year old? To bad Foxconn doesn't offer forum support for its products like MSI and other manifacturers do.

Good post, OP.

Another decent review of the board can be found here. Unfortunately the reviewer did not take the time to discuss the OC'ing abilities. 🙁

Edit: Also found a review of the mobo that indicates this board can be OC'ed just fine - but only the FSB and voltages can be adjusted. The reviewer does not mention the BIOS version, but just says that there is no CPU multiplier setting that can be adjusted. The review can be found here

Seems like a pretty good deal for $32 + tax if you are planning to mildly OC (or if you are not going to OC at all).

AGP may go up "in general" but deals and clearance will be rock bottom. Still buying into old tech may be no savings at all.

I've been looking for a rock bottom agp deal for the past 3 weeks and I haven't found any deals that would beat pci-e. I'm contemplating upgrading to this board in order to get one of the pci-e deals. If you know of some good agp deals please let me know.

Hard to beat the price/stability and features of the AGP ASRock Dual Sata board. The price is about as cheap as they come 🙂 Just got mine in last week waiting to pair it with an Opty 165

Ahh yes motherboards w/ AGP are indeed a great deal. I have been looking for a video card, I didn't mention that before. Thanks for the heads up though, I might stay agp a little longer with your example 🙂
