FOX to sue Al Franken over his book ..... UPDATE !!!!!!

It's truly ironic.

For as much as Fox is trying to make Franken fail, the publicity over this lawsuit has allowed Franken to sell substantially more books. Fox has made him much richer. How's that for irony! 😉

the whole thing was stupid. i like al franken but his books are preaching to the choir. they're not going to be read by people who believe that fox is credible. so why bother to make this big stink? it just helped frankens book all the more.

Because it sells and makes Franken $$.

Its funny. Now when I read a story about fox at yahoo they show a picture of the book to the left.

Also even now all the press has died down, it is #2 at amazon.com and it is even on sale now.

Did O'Reilly do a report on the fact that Fox lost his case? I say OReilly's because he said after the interview he was going to get Fox's lawyers in on this. I think Franken ought to send an open letter of thanks to Bill for ensuring his book was a commercial success.

Franken was on Letterman about a month ago. He said that O'Reilly told his listeners soon after the BookTV debate that if it were older times, he would have challenged Franken to a duel. He also assured his listeners that he would win, because he would shoot Franken "right between the head." 😀
