Ignorance is bliss. Another example of how blinded and biased the Bush adminstration is.. Instead of looking at what the general consensus is, they keep feeding themselves the outright lies and bullsh*t that Fox "News" serves them.

The puppet news network feeds the ignorant adminstration, not only their slanted news, but new members of their adminstration.

Whatever... would you prefer AF1 to be locked into CNN?

I am not surprised....

You shouldn't be, been that way for awhile. Won't make a difference to the dittoheads though, in their detached world Faux "News" passes for actual journalism, having only a slight bias or leaning. Still makes me laugh, but in a sad way. :(

What did you expect? bush has Fox "news"casters running his propaganda meetings with the press now. Is it any surprise that he has his own propaganda playing on AF1? After all, he has to make sure he's on the same page as his propaganda office, doesn't he?

I'd prefer that he be able to realize that other channels MIGHT have dissenting views and maybe tune into them once in a while to find out that there is another side to the situation than the "everything is peachy" Fox News version.

Who knows, maybe he might actually decide an issue based on a more accurate picture of the topic?

Cheney and Rove certainly do, I doubt Bush cares much beyond finding out what's going on in the world of baseball. People give this boob far too much credit, I'm seriously unsure he can even spell 'propaganda.'

It's called a GIGO system. The usual explanation for this acronym is Garbage In, Garbage Out, but for the Bushwhackos and Faux, a more accurate meaning is, Generally Insipid Government Obfuscation. :p

One thing for sure---every minute spent listening to fox news is one minute not spent listening to the American
people. But there are lies, and lies, and more lies---but lies heard on radio and television somehow seem more credable
to anyone born without a BS detector.

Its just sad that air force one is not a hot air balloon---fox news alone could probaly raise such a hot air balloon at least a thousand feet.-----maybe even to outer space--where it seems GWB delusions came from in the first place.

Would the same story be published if CNN was the station of choice? Or better yet, what about some previous administrations?

Of course not. Why? This is such an unimportant item... it must be a slow news day.

Oh right... Because presidents make policy decisions based on what they see on TV. Ok.

"Oh... I think we should take another tact lest we upset Chris Matthews." :disgust:

For those who can't seem to figure this out for themselves, even after six long years of bush and co. making mistake after mistake, wrong decision after wrong decision, and telling lie after lie after lie, here it is in a nutshell pre-cracked for you:

We have here a classic example of an echo chamber effect. Fox "news" spins the administration propaganda line, then the administration hears their own propaganda played back which reinforces their own propaganda. Now, normally, people in a free, democratic society are capable of digging through the bullsh!t (especially when they have examples of reality like Iraq and Katrina staring them in the face daily), but in today's America there seems to be a disconnect that Americans are having a difficult time overcoming. Is it because they too are watching Fox news along with bush? I don't know. I believe it's also part of the dumbing down of America. Either way, what you have here is a president who has lost touch with reality having his fantasies reinforced by what amounts to a state-run propoganda machine disguised as a "news" network, owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch, one of the richest people on Earth, who has special dispensations given to him from the very bush republicans whose propaganda he readily and willingly spins.

Get it now, you dumbed down fools?

Favorite and only are 2 different things. You'd hope that your 'leaders' would want to get a broad perspective on the issues rather than have this myopic view. Then again....

first, fox news is the number one watched cable news network in america, so why would it be so bad to have the station tuned to that channel, same as the average joe? Second, they are free to change the channel. And third, as for your assertion that the leaders need a broad perspective, don't you think they're getting a very, very broad perspective from the press core every freaking day? with goobers like helen thomas, david gregory, and the rest of their ilk, you've got all sorts of perspectives on issues riding in the plane with you...

This is really a non issue is it not? The admin feeds the news that Faux pumps out, so why would Bush want to watch any other news channel.

You know, I wonder if they turn down the sound when FOXNews mentions Bush's incredible improvement ratings - or do they do a "Bush Special Edition" where his approval rating is 95%?
