Edit: prayers also go out to the many killed innocent Iraqi civilians. May God
somehow avenge this unlawful aggression towards them. :)

If you are talking about the thousands if not tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis that Saddam has killed, then you could say that God is avenging them.

Yeah, i'm talking about those thousands of Iraqis that saddam has killed, mr. ETECH

Yup..with the weapons this GRand Old LIberating MAchine of a country supplied to Hussein years ago.

YEah...Bush gives a damn about Iraqi people.. wait...no he doesn't?

The most important propaganda topic deserving some discussion is the reason to go to war

and its evolution over time. Months earlier, the warmongers uttered "regime change"

as a justification for the war. This was considered too crass, and it briefly made way for

"Iraq has links to terrorism", a very short-lived justification. This gave way to "rid Iraq of WMD."

A UN inspection team was set up, and it was clear from the beginning that this was meant to fail.

Once the UN didn't lend its imprimatur to justify the war, and the fact that many Europeans

sought to continue the inspections regime, then another justification was necessary. Now,

"let's liberate Iraq"--in other words, a euphemism for "regime change"--was concocted without much reflection.

Within days of the war starting, the stiff Iraqi resistance revealed the absurdity of the new justification.

If the Iraqis are not being liberated, then what are American troops doing there to begin with? Maybe the

only way this mythological justification can be stretched is to starve the population of Basra (water supplies

have been cut), and at a later point when the situation is really desperate, then soldiers can hand out

food parcels for the benefit of CNN viewers.

So you would prefer the Iraqi's to suffer under tyhe totalitiarian regime of Hussien? If he is disposed the Iraqi expatriates would be able to go home and help build a new Iraq. Wouldn't it be nice if your ancestral homeland were freed from the freedom crushing theocratical grips of your Mullahs and Ayatollahs?

i like your tone..you disagree with me..but you didn't attack.... good boy

Iraq is currently secular btw... there are no mullahs in control..

but that's ok..stay away from any source of Knowledge for now (until war is over) -- enough of it may rouse suspicion regarding our own regime--

actually i called you a gorilla. you picked the icon.

Yes we are arrogant... but at least we have some understanding of right and wrong and the concept of justice. Selling out to an evil dictator is wrong. Putting an end to a madman hellbent on supporting terrorists and buying WMD is right.

i saw america's coup against mossaddegh in Iran....He was as close as we could get to a democracy in Iran

They had him killed and Put THE SHAH IN POWER (then they had many of you fools convinced that turban heads dont enjoy freedom as if this notion makes any sense)....AMERICA doesn't look to better IRaq...it seeks to disparage it

Iraqis know regime change means another Karzai -- puppet regime -- looking to further AMERICAN interests....

i didn't troll.... water supplies in Basra were cut

why were they cut? does it make sense to you since we're "liberating iraqis"

or does liberating mean punishing?

oh, and may i request you stop using smiley faces? they're almost as irritating as your posts

You were around back then? You must be the oldest member here. BTW, the Persian People are great. One of the greatest cultures ever. Hopefully the Iranians will rise against the Iron rule of the Clerics! BTW, the people you loved were being killed before we entered this conflict. Hopefully afterwards they will be free of our and all other outside influences and regain the greatness they use to have and that they should of had if not for the despicable tyranny of Hussien, his sons and his henchmen. Revolutions are often bloody. Sometime the people are so suppressed that they need help from another source. We are that other source. Sure innocents will die but in the long run the toll will be much less if we succeed.

Funny, everything I've seen indicates we are fighting Iraqis armed with Russian equipment. Anyone have that link of arms sales to Iraq handy?
