Way to go Obama, demonize and alienate the right and hope that they are crushed... so that you can blacklist any one who listens or watches them, kill free speech and freedom to choose. Divide America so that you can secure the votes.
What's next, are they going to collect the data from cable and satellite companies about who all are watching Fox?

"News" network? ROFL. Look at which of their shows get the best ratings. It's an entertainment network with inconsequential news shows ... just like the big three broadcast networks.

Also just for the record, the WH communications director -- NOT Obama personally -- didn't say any of the crap the OP suggests about "demonizing" the right, hoping they are "crushed," "blacklists," etc. As far as I can tell, he pulled it straight out of his ass, or more likely out of the asses of the Fox entertainers he faithfully parrots. Here is what the story actually quotes her as saying:

"Let's not pretend they're a news network," White House communications director Anita Dunn said on CNN's "Reliable Sources," firing the latest salvo in the long-simmering feud.

"Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party," Dunn said.

"What I think is fair to say about Fox, and certainly the way we view it, is that it really is more a wing of the Republican Party," she added. ...
Which isn't news to anyone, except maybe those who rely on Fox for news.

Wow what a surprise - Obama the destroys-everything-he-touches Marxist headcase who has the whole media in his fetid counter revolution has a problem with the only network that questions appointing communists and czars that write in books titled "Queering Elementary Education". What a total creep.

Lenin said to his agitators "accuse others of what you do".

I was surprised it took them this long to call them out. But really anyone that knows anything about politics realizes this already.

Obama has a long way to go to catch up to the GOP on "demonizing and alienating" they have made it an art form. And if ever someone deserved demonizing it's Ruppert Murdock, using his vast media resources as a single sided political weapon for the rightwing fringe is diabolical and should be called out.

And since when is calling out bad journalism and stating opinions "killing free speech".

IMO every FOX and WSJ news story should be prefaced with

"THIS IS A PAID ADVERTIZEMENT AND REFLECTS THE OPINIONS OF RUPPERT MURDOCK AND THE GOP - Any basis in fact is purely coincidental"

Fox News' ratings are growing.
the Republican party's ratings are shrinking.

clearly there's a disconnect in this theory.

You sound *exactly* like a right wing nut case I know. Of course, when you get all of your news from the likes of Fox and Rush I shouldn't be surprised two parrots say the same thing.

Is he or is he not scared that the country is finally discovering his true motives?

Also I don't listen to rush and don't think I've ever watched fox news. Most of my information comes from coworkers. The entire office hates the fucker.

Odd, you have the same exact key words and phrases. In other words, I don't believe you. Sorry.

That's OK, the WH has their own network -- CNN.

care to point to anything, polls, etc, to establish that the "country is finally discovering" his motives? Cuz gallup has his approval rebounding up to 56%.

Oh, and republican ratings have plummeted into the gutter, does this mean america discovered what their true motives are?

Yeah, facts have a thing about being universal. The country is waking up. It's wonderful to see them see what he is.

Fox News is entertainment. There's your disconnect. I never take any of their stuff seriously. Sometimes I have to double-check with CNN or BBC.
