This another big problem when you have other media outlets trying to compete with fox and conservative medias gamed system, the other networks will try to emulate the BS and run down rhe debaate of the US murdoch aand friends know it is a losing game for them, thugs always sooner or later overstep and get too cocky.

Sort of a global brain drain arbitage of media and the whole country gets dumbed down by conservative bs.

Its a gamed system. And it is the American people and democracy that lose out.

There's this FOX-bot "sheep" at my workplace who will invariably repeat in a comically butchered way every talking point FOX broadcasts on a daily basis to anyone within earshot, even people who he knows are obviously averse toward anything politically oriented.

I never get into "discussing" his political beliefs, he being so....indoctrinated, but one thing I did notice was that this guy has such a deep seated hatred for Obama that it consumes his thoughts, and the reasons he hates Obama comes straight from FOX....and Limbaugh, of which he always refers to as sources for his "proof".

It's one thing to hear of folks like this, but quite another to see one on a daily basis so pre-occupied with the hate and fear propaganda that FOX and Limbaugh constantly feeds their listeners.

Pretty scary to personally see how FOX et al affects peoples lives.

Nor is this guy the only one who I personally know that behaves this way.

Whatever FOX and Limbaugh does, they sure know how to attract the gullible and the uninformed, and keep them listening and watching.

So you know an idiot. I know a few myself. I know people who believe that everything they want is a "right", and that government has to supply it.

There is plenty of stupidity on both sides.

All those news networks are basically the same. They're all big corporate fascist control mechanisms. They should not be abolished through law, you people who think that way have no idea the concept of a free country. Look at the tabloids. They've been around for decades spreading nothing but lies and useless worthless garbage. But who cares? They're tabloids. Everybody knows what they are and why they are. They have no power over the people. Why is it not the same with these big corporate fascist control systems (Fox, CNN, ABC, etc). It very well could be, and will be one day if people ever wise up. I think we have to wait for the current crop of boomers to die off because they are obviously too far gone.

People forget that these news outlets are businesses run by moguls. Like other loud mouths such as Al Sharpton, Louis Farakhan, Rush Limbaugh, etc... when there is divisiveness, more money can be made. Plus these media moguls on the left and right both pour a lot of money into their desired candidates... they have to protect those investments.

I think the only ones that don't realize this are the ones constantly posting fox news call out threads.

This is another false equivelency conservtives hide behind, limbaugh started the tabloid divisovmess shortly after deregulation in the 80s for the radio, fox perfected it on cable news in the late 90s. It is very hard to keep up with outright tabloid infotainment when you are giving the straight facts, it used to be a matter of honor and integrity for stations to not veer into bullshit sensationalism, now that the bar has
been fully lowered for a generation the other networks have had to adapt and play catchup, lowering the standards across the board. The other networks will always be playing catchup as fox is the one who sets the low standard. The picture is ironic on quite a few levels.

Some of have been watching this happen to the USs media since the 80s lile a cancer it corrupts citizens, a fascist creep that consumes our 4th estate that is supposed to be the counterweight to political BS, now another bullshit circus fully in bed with the powers that be.

You.cannot even recognize a repubican now as they have become a cult of.tabloid "conservatives" who would crucify ronnie raygun as a RINO the democrats are doing their damndest to adapt and play catchup, and the American people lose.

Dont get me wrong,

The government and media have ALWAYS been corrupt, but newspeople used to at least tried to be somewhat low key about it and ran imformative stories imstead of infotainment fluff before limbaugh/fox decided to whore out the debate for a quick buck after deregulation.
We should have listened to great/grandparents who said to turn the damn tv/radio off , it makes you stupid

I have great respect for limbaugh esspically for pulling off the bullshit coup and literal tabloid brainwashing of the american public, as I think Rommell was a formidable opponent to us in ww2, it stil does not make his politics and methods any less nefarious though.
