Why the hell do you think a hack tweet of this magnitude and order is "awesome"? You thought the lulzsec stuff was childish and criminal, yet this is awesome?

The following reasons:

1) I hate Fox News
2) No body believed it
3) No body got hurt
4) It's a fun thing to do on July 4th
5) It's started some amusing jokes on twitter.

And I wondered why my local Republicans were out dancing on the street this morning. Coming out of the closet celebration was wrong then?

So as long as the joke regarding a head-of-state assassination is from a source you hate and is unbelievably funny and occurs on the respective nations birthday celebration, its all good. Got it.

It'd be funny wherever it came from, it can easily be verified and it put no ones life in danger. Fine fine.

No they are not. If they were to start looking up those that would be happy about the death of Bobo, the Post Turtle, they would have to start at joe biden's house.

Actually YES the Secret Service will be knocking on the doors of those that hacked the twitter account and posted that nonsense.

Ask some of the Mods on these forums what happens when one of you idiots posts something like that on these forums...

The secret service takes all this very seriously as should you....

Would you find the same scenario funny were it to happen to the BBC, and say Prince William and Kate?

I'm certainly no fan of Obama, but I don't think this kind of shit is funny at all, regardless of source or the subject of the humor.

Yes, of course I would, It's amusing, as long as it didn't cause distress, which I image the BBC website being hit like that would.

If there's one thing that we've learned from Weinergate, it's that claims about twitter hacking are always false.

It would have been more funny to post something like "Rupert Murdoch purchases Lifetime Networks for 1.2 billion dollars."

It was wishful thinking on Fox's part.

Then, when the drugs wore off and the young Asian boys were removed from Murdoch's bed, it was realized this could get them in trouble - so, they had to place the fault on hackers.

Oh, those gosh darn hackers!!

Wonder how many Republicants Popped the Champaign Cork Early?

That is the first thing that popped into your mind seeing this?

What kind of sad life do you live? I'm sorry, but this is pathetic even for AT P&N standards.
