They had a long segment on police reform on the anniversary of George Floyds death. Not to promote the need but to link reform with a rise in crime rates. They out up stat after stat showing the increase in crime vs 2020 in "big cities". At the same time showing old footage of fires during protests.

First of all we recognize the dog whistle of emphasizing "big cities" and showing old footage of fires. This is COMPLETELY misleading since crime is up everywhere in 2021. Why? Lockdowns are over. Air pollution dramatically improved during 2020 and I'm sure it has gotten worse.

Their audience is so brain dead they will associate police reform with more violence, which is what Fox wants
 
Group think, herd mentality, zombies following the drumbeat.....this is what takes over the Repub mindset regardless of personal beliefs when they choose party over country. Any lie, rumor, innuendo, false accusation and fantastic conspiracy that helps their cause is now a valid talking point supported by evidence that's just as phony as the talking point itself.

A leap of blind faith over the precipice now becomes an unspoken law whereas the use of common sense and logic is now an act of treason. Just ask Liz Cheney, she'll tell you what happens when arriving at a logical conclusion and stating as such makes her party members feel guilty and indignant about denying the facts of the matter.

Its not just Fox News viewers. I've had discussions with people of a variety of backgrounds and there's a general intentional refusal to learn anything and just spout bullshit.
