Fox News blatantly lying about Biden's executive orders on guns.

This is the reason we fail to get any meaningful legislation the public wants. Perfect illustration of Fox News brainwashing on the deplorables.

By gun grab it must mean Biden just signed executives orders to confiscate legal firearms. After droning on about Biden's gun grab they list the actual parts of the orders, sort of

First one true but no guns grabbed.
Second one, ghost guns are already illegal in a lot of states. You can still buy the gun but not a kit without a serial number.
Third is a blatant lie. No national law proposed. Feds release guidelines for states to enact their own RFL
Fourth is true but doesn't mean anything because the ATF sill has to operate within parameters of existing law. No guns grabbed.

I saw this propaganda while on the elliptical and felt the need to inform.
 
The absence of legislation directly benefitting the working class folks of the Repub party by the politicians of their party speaks for itself. How ironic it is that it's the Democrats that want to give them a living wage, better job opportunities, a way to negotiate with their employers for better pay and benefits, improved infrastructure, affordable health care and so much more. And more irony still as these common folk conservatives who would benefit from the legislation the Democrats are wanting to pass are being totally obstructed at every turn by their own legislators of whom they keep returning to office.

These folks would gladly accept these benefits if their own Repubs in Congress would pass legislation like that (they won't of course for they'd rather give these gifts to the wealthy) yet they also look down their noses at the same legislation as "socialist deficit spending" the Dems are pushing simply because.

The kicker? It's that attitude where "we hate it on principle, but we'll take it anyway" the Repubs have been showing up with as of late.

First, Republicans represent roughly half the political power, if not the people of this nation.
Second, this is their news. Their facts. The lies of Fox News are reality as they know it.
Third, you need to know your enemy. Lest you be surprised when propaganda leads them to violence.

The OP is doing us a favor by exposing the propaganda. The more we know of the alt-reality bubble, the better.
 
The true issue is that the Republicans have pushed the notion that any attempts to regulate the unlawful sale of arms is the same as attempts to seize 2a rights from lawful gun owners. Granted, this issue isn't helped by many Democrats, but at the same time it's a fact that the right to keep and bear does not include the right to buy and sell without regulation. I support responsible and lawful gun ownership.

I also saw that last night and thought what a load. I also agree with those points of Bidens.

And

Get rid of large capacity magazines.
Universal background checks for any gun purchase.
Improve the mental health system.

Lol you should see some of the gun subreddits, people are losing their minds about braces being potentially banned. File a Form 1 you cheap fucks. When I hear "but muh costs to pay the tax" and I see easily a grand plus worth of accessories hanging off a braced gun my eyes roll so hard.

I have zero sympathy if all the braces have to go in the trash since it was obviously an end run around doing an SBR.

But goddammitall don't you know that that's SOCIALISM?! Any plan to give back to people that pay taxes by implementing something useful for them is blasphemy! Much better to pull yourself up by the boot straps and increase the wage disparity gap, and hope some money will trickle down onto them.

Can't you see by the reactions to the stimulus checks? People that are spinning their wheels in life against a system rigged against them are absolutely incensed that we are screwing their great grandchildren over with such an obvious Democratic attempt to buy votes. Who the hell will pay for all of the money your handing out to the common folks? Wouldn't that money be better used decreasing the corporate tax rates so we all benefit?

But this kind of stuff could increase the House and/or Senate to switch to Republican in 2022 and cost the Dems re-election in 2024

Yeah I thought this was dumb when I heard it too. This is the last thing they should pursue. I mean regardless, whatever Biden does the GQP will lie about it, but there are other things to do .
