lol well seeing as there's really nothing to watch on the Big4 these days besides CBS, I welcome this news. Can't wait talk about all the ludicrous feats of Jack Bauer once again in the weekly ATOT 24 epi threads. :)

Watching it on Netflix right now. All 8 seasons are there. I gotta admit re-watching is just as satisfying since I can't remember everything from every season.

Nice, I'm gonna check that out.

Fox in talks to do something very stupid. 24 ran its course - let it rest in peace.

I'm kinda there with you.

Do you watch Chicago Fire? What are they gonna do next season? Another fire????!!!!!

We don't have cable. When we did, all we ever watched was real TV like History Channel and Military Channel. I haven't seen a show on TV lately that's worth my time or cable money. TV today sucks.

Everyone knows custer, err Bauer, died at the battle of little bighorn. What this show presupposes is... maybe he didn't?

Is the version on Netflix in HD? Looks standard on Amazon prime. Anyone know when 24 started filming in HD?

One of the writers producers of the show in twitter said 12 episodes. Plenty for jack to get the body count north of 100.

At least 100. 12 hours is also enough time for at least one mole, one crisis in the White House, probably involving the cabinet, and at least one TAC team ambushed and gunned down by inferior numbers. I hope this happens. 24 is one of my all time favorite shows.

Season 8 question, refresh my memory

Day 8 ended with Jack running off into the sunset because he was wanted by the Russians and the US right?

I can live without its' return, but will watch for sure. Although, I'll wait until it is on Netflix or online streaming so I don't have to wait a week between episodes.

The mastermind of the evil is a criminal. Oh, no, wait it's an aide in the White House. Oh no, wait, it's a SENIOR aide in the White House. Oh no, wait, it's the Vice President. Oh no, wait, it's the President. Oh no, wait, it's the president of an evil military corporation. Oh no, wait, it's the Chairman of that corporation. Oh no, wait, it's a council of evil corporations. Oh no, wait, it's the Chinese.

How the hell can they have a 12 episode season of 24, and still call it 24? Are they going to play it at 2x speed?
