Fox Extends Prison Break to Season 2

Fox has decided that it takes longer than one season to bust out of prison.

I knew that they would not let this honey pot of a show go away after just one season. I was amazed that they originally concieved it to have 44 episodes!

I like the show and haven't missed an episode yet. USAToday article a week or two ago was good and talked about how they are going to move away from the prision next season and focus on the lives of the men that make it out. They did say not everyone will make it.

LOS ANGELES - TV?s most handsome convicts will get another term on Fox?s ?Prison Break.?

Production is set to start mid-June on the show?s second season, to begin in the fall, a network spokesman said Wednesday.

The hour-long drama follows a group of inmates, led by two brothers, as they plan their escape from Illinois State Prison. They will break free by the time the season wraps on May 15.

The show?s sophomore season will track the men as they attempt to elude capture.

?Season 2 will be the manhunt,? series creator and executive producer Paul Scheuring told the trade paper The Hollywood Reporter. ?It will be ?The Fugitive? times eight.?

Producers have not yet decided whether the show?s title will be modified or changed to reflect the convicts? on-the-lam status.

Producers have announced that they?re scouting locations in New Mexico, as part of the new story line will be set in the Southwest. They?ve also said that three characters will be killed off in the last two episodes of the second season.

Ridiculous, almost as bad as "Invasion", however the storyline/characters are actually intriguing so it is actually a decent show - unlike Invasion. However they both need to get the F over with already. If you have another season do it creatively like he has to break out of another prison ? or he?s hired by the government to break some secret agent out of a foreign prison ? or get to the manhunt already.

Why should they change the shows name just because they got out. If it works don't fix it.

I heard that it's really 'The Fugitive' times 7.5, but they rounded up. Hopefully that doesn't affect your decision though.

IMO...

DB Cooper(Westmoreland) also doesn't make it but tells Michael where the cash is..

Yeah, he's in the short list for the other two spots ... but you also have to consider the characters outside the wall.
