Murdoch says it will be more 'business friendly' than CNBC. He says CNBC leaps on every scandal.

So much for the 'We Report, You Decide' mantra...

Hehe, they have made a joke of news and people are turning away so time for a new business model, I guess.

Business coverage on Fox News is just atrocious. Their panels look like used car salesmen and old bimbos, and really have no clue about what they are talking about.

Watching FOX or CNN is like asking your divorced friends for advice on keeping a marriage going

For the record, they lead the other two cable news networks by leaps and bounds in the ratings and have for some time.

In any case, competition is a good thing. Adding another business channel to the market will create a more competitive atmosphere and at the end of the day should lead to better business news all around. I'm curious to see what the Fox channel will be like.

Its good having competition but I doubt Fox will even come close to CNBC. CNBC has some entertaining market shows and a staff of great reporters. Mad Money and Fast Money are two powerhouse stock shows. Not to mention CNBC has Maria Bartiromo http://www.cnbc.com/id/15838253/.

While CNBC has Bartiramo, it was a travesty that they took Mark Haynes off of Sqwauk Box. Becky Quick doesn't have a clue about business. She's like a local news channel reporter looking for a story (read scandal) that's not there. At least they kept Joe around, he's funny enough and knows what he's talking about.

Becky Quick is just a pretty face. They need another pretty face + smart girl with economics.

As if scandals shouldn't be leaped on? Fox News realizes that Enron type scandals are sometimes necessary for the execs' 2nd yacht?

I would say jumping on scandals and viewing them harshly is better for the business world; honest, fair, transparent business is good for business.
