normally i'd say you should be nervous, but since you're only making burgers and dogs you have nothing to worry about.

don't use lighter fluid. ever.

Going to a friend's house, I believe there's going to be smoked chicken and ribs among other things.

I'm going to Ribfest in Naperville, IL. 16 different rib vendors. I shall fast for a few days, then pig out on pulled pork sandwiches from 2 or 3 different places at the event. Then I may finish the evening with a few beers at Limestone.

BBQ ribs, smoked chicken, smoked pork loin, smoked cheese, chips/guac, and whatever anyone else brings. Beer will be Boulevard and Bear Republic. Oliva, Greycliff, Rocky Patel, and Cusano will be there too.

For the grill:
teri marinade chuck steaks
dry-rubbed tri-tips
italian sausage
May's teri-burgers

Off the grill:
inamona ahi poke
spicy ahi poke
rice
7 layer dip
tortilla chips

I'm going to smoke some ribs on Sunday. They are going to cook over hardwood charcoal for about 3 hours with some apple wood for flavor.
