We had a similar incident several years back where an new officer was headed home from the police academy graduation party when she got on the interstate heading the wrong direction and killed herself and a couple of other people. Seems like there wasn't much publicity regarding the investigation afterwards.
 
I live in StL.....this should not be national news. The OP is probably Indian and wants some attention for the story.

These things happen in all locales.
 
This has minimal national appeal. If there were a video of it, it might get some play on the national news. They love shocking videos (e.g. Chicago cops beating up bartenders). Without video though, it's just a lot of words that don't have much meaning on a national level.

Sounds like vehicular manslaughter to me. I hope she is adequately punished.
 
Vehicular manslaughter, if she was drinking and driving.
