Found the problem - only one working processor...

OK - I can get the system to boot with one processor and not the other (running them singally). I think it's safe to say that I have a non-working processor. I have no idea why that's the case, but that's all I can conclude. Anyone have a spare Athlon MP 1600+ around that I could "borrow"?

Bummer. :(

I take it that you've tried both processors as a single in the slot that works, and one works, the other doesn't. Can you RMA the bad one?

That's exactly what I did... It has a one year warranty on the processors, so I'm hoping to call 'em tomorrow. No dualie and hence a low wu output for awhile. Bummer too - I was hoping to hit 250 tomorrow if all was working.

Yeah - everything's up and running now. I just feel half the man I used to be only running one processor... :frown:

Good luck getting everything back up and running UNLTuba!
You sure have had more than your share of bad luck the last few days!
