Found my new favorite fruit.

This tastes so damn good. It's where the grapefruit came from but it's naturally sweeter and a little more sour. If you get one make sure you get the fat ones not the small ones. These are just really really good 🙂

Oro Blanco grapefruit, a pomelo/grapefruit cross, pawn mere pomelos and mere grapefruit. They are the asian-anglo chicks of the citrus family. I have to admit a bias. I had one for lunch today, picked off the tree in the backyard.

Pomelo.

Try the rambotan, mangosteen, starfruit, and pitahaya/"dragon fruit" (either get the yellow-skinned type or the red-fleshed type)

Pomelo is nice to have once in a while, but I would prefer Vu Sua (star apple) over it any day.

IMHO:

1.Star apple (green > purple variety)
2.Sugar cane juice (fresh)
3.Sour sop juice (fresh)
4.Coconut water.
5.Mango (tree ripen)
6.Longan

<-- don't like mangosteen

It could be that you never had a fully riped star apple, or fresh squeeze sugar cane that spiced with hint of orange/tangelo.

Hmmm.. only explanation for this is you don't know how to eat mangosteen and bit into the purple part. I will not leave this thread and be fully satisfied that this is the reason you said that.

Nope, I just don't care much for the taste. To me there are many other fruits that tastes better than mangosteen. And, I'm the only Asian that I know that dislike durian.
