Not sure what caused it to disappear, and I'm not sure how to get it back either.
I just installed and ran Sandra 2001te, thats when I noticed that it was gone. Not sure if this was the culprit or not/

FOund the problem, I unchecked the "shell enhancements" box in tweakui.

Man just right click on the start menu and i think there is a check box you can activate to get it back. i am right now on a NT machine or i would have varified it.. but its not that big of a deal...just play around and u will find it...

Thats what i thought too, I right-clicked on the task bar and it brought up a dialog box with "Toolbars"....it wont let me check the Quick Launch box.
