New mainboards from SOYO are based on Intel's BX chipset and feature 133 FSB and an embedded ATA 100 controller chip. SOYO's SY-6BA+IVe motherboard has been re-engineered to support 133MHz FSB. It has a single board list price of $125 U.S. The SY-6BA+100 (list price $145 U.S) has been enhanced with 133MHz FSB, and an embedded ATA 100 chipset controller to power next generation high-speed hard drives as well as support RAID 0 (Striping) and RAID 1 (Mirroring). Both boards feature 1AGP, 5PCI and 2 ISA expansion slots, and support up to 1GB of SDRAM system memory with 4 x 168-pin DIMMs sockets. Onboard I/O includes one floppy disk connector for two floppy drives, two serial ports, one parallel port, one PS/2 mouse port, two USB ports, one IRDA (infrared) port, and one PS/2 keyboard port.

Well, at least the information is not as screwy as Abit's 133 FSB announcement. This press release reads like the board is a BX with a 133 setting. The Abit press release reads like they have somehow solved the AGP problem.

Heck even my 2 year old P2B has 133 FSB support, and has proven to be one of the most stable at that speed in countless reviews.

Taken from this angle, BX 133 FSB support has been around for years.

It confirms that a 1/2 AGP is not supported. The board does receive a very favorable review, however.
