Found a way to download IE6 SP1 and keep the files for use on other machines

This page describes how to download the entire IE6 SP1 install file for redistibution in a network enviroment. I followed the directions, making a change to the run statement to reflect my hard drive c:. When it runs, it asks you what Windows OS's you want to download. I chose all four. Later in the download/install process, it asks a number of questions that seem to prompt you to run seperate installer programs. One of them was Flash player and another was something about internet fonts. There were 5 or 6 of these. It does not actually install them, but inserts them into the package that is being created. When it was done, it had downloaded/created 50 mb of Microsoft's finest software.

Or you can just use the Microsoft IEAK (Internet Explorer Administration Kit) which allows you to customize it before deploying it to other machines.
