I did see it eat when I snuck up on it...but when it saw me, it huddled back in the corner.
That's perfectly normal.
He can't find Momma and he's also scared sh|tless.

I guess if you live in Cinci you must not get many rabbits, we can always count on 4+ rabbits in our yard at a time, 24 hrs a day (except when I mow, it scares them off).

My sister really wants to keep it though. I dunno, we'll see.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

We found some like that in my yard; my sister fed them with a syringe until they were old enough to go off on their own, they are so cute when they are little. But they get big, and eat flowers, and make more and more and more and more rabbits ;)

You really should consider putting it back. Chances are that it was trying to remain undetected in a nest and the mother will return for it.

Aww, so cute!! :)

You've found it so young, if you want to keep it you probably can.. See if you can get it to trust you and stuff.

I seriously doubt it's got any diseases or anything, lol... you people are silly.

That is a very young rabbit and I can guarantee you it does not have rabies. It is scared because it is very young. If you decide to release it back into the wild contact a local wild animal rehabilitator and ask for their advice. If you decide to keep it as a pet then take it to the Vet just to make sure everything is alright. He/she will make a great pet and as long as you treat it humanely and take care of it properly then I have no problems with you keeping it as it will more than likely have a better life with you. I have a rabbit sitting right here with me now. I have had her for 3 years and she is a great pet. When she has been out too long she seeks her own cage so do not feel guilty about a caged animal if you care for it well. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Just take it to the vet to have it checked out. Was probably a baby and the mom ran off. but of course she could come back so you could put the bunny back and see. But now tha tyou touched it, the mom might not come back and take it beacuse of the "evil human smell" that the bunny probably now has.

Me wuvs fuzzy wuzzy wabbits :D I'd let him go, but if you decide to keep him, call Human Society and ask them how to properly take care of it and what possible deseases you should be aware of.

Shouldn't have picked it up in the first place. If you decide to keep it, get a proper rabbit cage. The aquarium doesn't provide good airflow and you need a mesh bottom for the urine and droppings to fall through. Please give it a place to hide too!

My suggestion: return it to the yard and let nature take its course, or have a nice rabbit stew. Well--maybe not, it's kinda small . . . :p
