Most of the time you see a rabbit around here it's dead because it's been nailed by a car. They seem to eat anything and everything green that they can reach. After I found out that the rabbits were eating my flowers, I put up a plastic fence around the flowers. The rabbits then chewed through the plastic fence to get to my flowers... They may look cute and cuddley, but they are very destructive animals. They have also chewed through the wood surrounding my deck in order to get under it.

I'm sure that if I said I found an insect burrow of termites in my backyard, and was going to destroy them, no one would care.
I live at 92nd Avenue in the middle of Portland.

Rabbits are only a pest if you let them be. You can take measures to keep them from eating your things, like feeding them rabbit food.

It seems like feeding them rabbit food would encourage them to come to your house to eat everytime they are hungry... And then they would probably make babies, and eat, and make more babies, and then you would have hundreds of rabbits living in your yard, and you would have to keep feeding them all... I would rather just have them be gone.

The wild rabbits in our city are not destructive. It's our (human) fault that the woods that they used to live in have been mowed down and developed on. And you will be an ass for having them be destroyed. Why not have them be relocated somewhere where they won't be a nuissance to you? :|

If you know of a way to relocate them without killing them, please let me know...

Call ASPCA. I assume they have that where you live. In our area they'd come and rescue the varmints.

Have you ever heard a bunny squeal when it's dying? It's freaky!

Kinda like this maybe???

Yes make them MORE dependent on him feeding them.

Beagle puppies? This was probably back in the day, before lawsuits and animal rights.

You shoot a dog nowadays, they'll put a murderer on parole just to make room for you in prison.

He had a pen of like 10 beagles and they humped alot, and no one wanted em. Oh well. Old farmers do what old farmers do.

If farmers can neuter bulls they should be able to neuter dogs, too. But I guess that's just too forward thinking for an old farmer.

Yah he just put em in a sack n buried em in the big ass garden (like 1 acre if not more) he buried em before they could even see. Im not justifying, its kinda wierd but whatever. You think he was the only one doing stuff like that back then, it was common place.

A few years ago my dog got into some baby rabbits.
I guess their stupid mother decided to make her den right next to his kennel.
I felt kind of bad for them though.

Look at all the money you would save on buying fresh meat from the market though

It's times like this that I hate XP.

Yes, I know the command prompt trick, I just wish they'd come out with a patch so I didn't have to do it so often.

Well did it sound good?

Stuff like this makes me wish some aliens would stumble across us and then decide to smite certain parts of humanity for being pests.
