How much did you buy ur OPTY 170 for? I plan on doing the same but a less expensive mobo. How long have you had it on how good has it been running for you? Any problems have you accured with that CPU?

Tankguys seems to have Opteron 165s on backorder. Kinda makes it a poor price-comparison when you can't even buy it at that price *)
