Found a Black Widow Outside (Female)

OMG...i just showed my roommate the spider and she scared it off into the walls of our house. Thanks god were not going to be here for the egg sacs galore.

I asked her for a jar and she came out to see what I was up to. She then proceeded to get extra close to it and it got scared by her mug and ran off into a crevice of the house.
 
Was a web there? it should come back.if there was one... but I wouldn't recommend keeping it seeing that if it did get loose and or bite you, you could die 😀. That and it probably wouldn't survive in a fully closed environment like a Tupperware dish.
 
Black widows are highly aggressive and hunt in bloodthirsty packs. But no worries, they only come out at night or during the day.

Yeah there was a web...it looked like it was chillin on it's patio web for a couple hours until my roommate scared it back in it's house.

Tupperware....pshhh

Remember that some people are allergic to the venom, or to the antivenin, and last I heard you can only take it once in your life. If you get bitten, the best thing that can happen is 36 hours of agony. From there it ranges up through many thousands of dollars in medical bills to embarrassing death.

Don't mess with black widows unless you really know what you're doing. It's just not worth it. Kill it, get someone else to kill it, or ignore it. I'm sure it's fine where it is, but perhaps its descendants will move indoors. Then they will make you part of the hive mind. You will watch Lifetime Movie Network, claim Picard could beat up Kirk, make a video of yourself dancing, ask for help with your BIOS in P&N, and demand a PCI version of the R600.

As I said, it's just not worth it.

Make sure those holes are numerous and very small... don't want babies scurrying all about.
