Wow I even have 2x media... 10 pk 650mb memorex. Mostly used, but a few unused. I bought these when I thought spindles were shady and low q uality and disks could get scratched.. LoL.

I think even after that I only got like 30pk 700mb discs. And finally I jumped on the 50 memorex spindles which I've been using since.

All my disks from January of 1998 that I burned at 2x on my Mitsumi 2x burner work fine. I don't see why ones burned twice as fast a year later wouldn't work.
I have CDs that I purchased in the early 90s that still play as well.

Why wouldn't they work??? Are you proud that you didn't scratch or loose them or something ???

Why are people being so bitter? I've read far more inane posts - I actually find it interesting that the CDRW lasted so long. I noticed DVD-Rs failing in less than 3 years!
