Brief background: I'm a Euro-mut mix; French, English, Scottish and Polish. This is what happens when you're genetic make-up hates you...

Earlier, I was driving to Target to get a summer pair of slip on shoes. It took me about 10 minutes to get there and 10 minutes to get back. Had the windows and the sun roof open. Cruising along, being the hot shit that I am because, hey, I'm 23 and a good 8 out of 10 on a hot-or-not scale. I get home, feeling good because these shoes fit and feel nice to walk in. Then I look at my arms. I got fucking sun burned while driving. I'm pretty white, but this is just pathetic.

Weather: Sunny, 89F with a UVI of 7...

Burned...

I do a 400 mile drive (800 mile roundtrip) every few weeks. By the middle of the summer, my left arm is way darker than my right arm. This is with the windows rolled up.

I feel your pain. I try to keep my arms in the shade while driving as much as possible. If I ever have the money I'll put in windows which block UV rays in my car (currently only my windshield and back window do this).
