Crime? Depends on state... But she was in a position of authority over the teen. That in most books equals a crime and at least in my book should.

BTW, shes OK, not exactly hot, but she's more the type, face wise, I would have banged back in the day. No rounded, butterball plump Botox and silicone faces for me. Those types of plastic surgery massacre faces, like Donald Sterling's V. Stiviano's (BARF) would make it shrivel up faster than glass of ice water poured down my button flys. And BTW, I knew a friend who was more gay than straight who married at 18 to a woman who was 37 and she had a cute 17 year old son he obviously wanted to bang. Of course he denied he wanted to bang him, just before he broke up with me and married her, but I knew he was damn liar since he couldn't keep it in his pants for anyone. For all I know, the mom was cool with it all.
