Back with more info about Forza...

If you're an ign insider, you can grab a super hi-res video of Forza that looks absolutely amazing in my opinion...it's under masterbit theatre (why I have no clue), but you should definitely check it out if you have any interest in Forza.

Video is in 4 sections:

First section is a Chrysler ME Four Twelve (the 850bhp super car) going around a huge oval stadium-like track.

Second section is a bunch of LeMans racers duking it out on Laguna Seca

Third section is a Aston Martin (Vanquish I think) on a foresty course

Last section is a Racing Corvette on a New York course

I'll see if I can take some small video clips or at least screenshots to give you guys a glimpse of it.

Without something like a Driving Force Pro it can't compete with GT4 regardless of other aspects. I have a driving force pro and a seat out of an altima in my bedroom for GT4 and I can never use a regular controller again. If you know someone with GT4 and a DFP you should give it a try. It's a lot of fun. Way more engrossing.

getbush, my roommate has GT4, so I've been playing that a bunch, but unfortunately he doesn't have the wheel...maybe someday

Forza has a Fanatec wheel that they designed for it, probably not quite as good as the DFP, but we'll see how it fares when it comes out.

after seeing the vid.. the gameplay action looks just like TOCA Race Driver 2... so I hope the car customization and everything else makes it more fun on top of it. Nice visuals though.

To those who think the game seems boring or what not, it's a matter of taste I suppose, it's not like NFS:U or even PGR, it's a sim racer, more like GT4, which I guess could be considered "boring" by some.

The customization also has me excited, you can basically paint your car however you want, put on different body kits, change rims, tint windows, etc.

Wow I sound like a walking advertisement...

But yeah, I guess bottom line, this game is not for everyone, but it looks great for what it is!
