Shoulda got the Ferrari 330. All of those cars are worth owning, so you'll have to buy them all eventually, and the Ferrari is the most expensive, so better to get it free. But that's one choice that you really can't mess up on.

wtf have they done to my game??? the first race is disgustingly similar to GT5 tracks =(

don't like the bernese alps track?

i really like it, especially the S after the bridge/long right sweeper at the beginning.

edit: also, the first race had all assists on, so it felt like shit.

hmm it feels exactly like forza 3 at level 1. I probably can't tell much difference until i get to more powerful cars.

on the topic of lvl 4 reward seat vs renault, which one is faster?

all the reward cars are always upgraded to the top of their class, so they're usually pretty close. I'm kinda annoyed that they don't tell you the stats when you're choosing though.

jesus i think the AI actually got worse in this game. they've made them more aggressive without being any smarter.

and now I have to choose between a McLaren f1 and a Ferrari f50. :-(

Yeah, I had the same issue last night vshah. Went with the McLaren. I also chose the Ferrari 330, so the overall value of the last two cars I won is $12,000,000. That's pretty badass, right there...

If you picked up the F50, I'll go ahead and share the McLaren. I haven't actually raced it yet, but I'm assuming it's fast with fairly gnarly handling (since that's pretty much what it was famous for).

You get an achievement for beating a 330 in a GT40, you get a different achievement for owning all the Ferraris. Choices choices.

McLaren, no question.

Ya know, I'm all about getting the most expensive cars and such, but does it really matter? Any car you get for leveling/gifted you can only sell for $100.

I'm not interested in selling them. I want to have the Ford GT40, the Shelby Cobra Daytona AND the Ferrari 330. But seeing as how the Ferrari costs more than the other two combined, it's worth it to me to take it as the gift car and use my own credits to buy the other two later. Ditto for the McLaren and the F50, where the F50 is a paltry 400,000, but the McLaren costs 3,000,000. I can already afford to buy 3 F50s, but it'll be a long time before I can afford the McLaren. So getting the most expensive car in those cases makes economic sense for me because I intend on buying all those cars regardless. In other situations I will pick a cheaper car if I have no interest whatsoever in the more expensive ones.

'choosing' cars is not a big deal. if you don't pick it, someone else will, and be unable to sell it. auction house won't be flooded with free cars like forza3, but at least you won't have to pay full price. e.g. i took the VW toureg and bought a land rover for like 30k outright (i think they're like 70). could've prolly won an auction for 10.

put one of my early 355 tune on the club garage.

it's got a turbo.

and flowers now.

in case anyone was wondering, car soccer needs weight + torque.

people seem confused when i push their whole team across the map with my 6000lb 900ftlb volkswagen. and it seems to outaccelerate AND outhandle them (tuning ftw).

the hummer is the obvious choice, but you can't make it handle anywhere close to the toureg (or the land rover or bimmer, for that matter). also my veyron-like 0-60 times are aggressive gearing, diff tuning, and drag tires.

people who just drive the cars are so missing out. :awe:

other favorites- my C class C1 corvette, A class escort (the euro RWD one). plus a few other awesome muscle cars in B-D classes. i'm having trouble getting into the S class cars. need more midengine.

So.. either I'm super blind, but how do I change settings on the Fanatec CSR wheel in Forza? I go to advanced options but don't see anything for 900º vs 270º, sensitivity and etc.
