Forza 3 Steering Wheel?

I'm looking to get the Xbox 360 wireless steering wheel set-up, does anyone have any leads on info if there is a newer version coming out to coincide the release of Forza 3? A bundle perhaps or ?

Looks like the current model is good enough, but I'm just curious.

the forza 3 wheel is made by fanatec, and is an entry level sim wheel comparable to the G25 in features. iirc like $300 or more with standard plastic pedals, more if you want the hardcore metal sim pedals.

for being priced against the driving force pro (pc/ps3 only), i thought the MS wheel was awful.

There is no "Forza 3 wheel," not sure where you got your info. Fanatec makes a 360 compatible wheel now though, the 911 Turbo S. And actually it's supposed to be a very nice mid-upper level wheel. The old 911 Turbo wheel had alot of plastic parts, the Turbo S has alot of upgrades.

Still, it IS overpriced, for the money I'd buy a G25.

As for a new MS wheel coming out I don't think so. I've got the current model, it works fine but if you don't have something to bolt it to like a high table or racing seat don't buy it, it sucks sitting in your lap.

I'd buy a G25/27 too. If only they made them compatible with 360's.

This Fanatec one is just too questionable.

They really need to release a wheel with a stick shift..

Fanatec wheel has an H shifter. Honestly I think it'll be a great wheel, but my gosh it's overpriced! I understand having to pay for that little badge in the middle, but it's sooooo not worth it for the price.

Yeah Fanatec is real nice but a lot of $$$$, $200 just for the 360 compatible wheel then add even more for the pedals. Looks like a $500 investment for the complete set with pedals and shifter. Way out of my price range but I bet it's worth it for the full experience.

Looks like the Xbox sub $99 model is what I'll be buying, they are cheaper on Ebay.

I did not think anything Logitech makes is 360 compatible?

it is being released around the time of forza 3, it has features specific to forza 3 (not a lot of support for clutches and gated shifters on anything else) and has been developed with and used to demo that game. and it is and probably will be the only good wheel microsoft allows on their console (they're certainly not interested in supporting logitech). it's the forza 3 wheel as much as the DFP was the GT4 wheel.

making a post to point out that the name is indeed not actually 'the forza wheel' is a bit asinine.
