Lets forego the "official person car picks" until we get more people back and go with the community car choice. Whatever we all can agree on will work. We can pick back up with the list eventually (and start where we left off...with ME!! Mwahahaha!!). Besides, when the Forza 2 night started it was a community choice (and typically Waldo was the official tuner).

Eagle Talon is fine with me, I'll have to buy and tune one. I'm about 50% likely to show up tonight. My wife wants to watch Glee (and it's way more fun on the 42" HDTV in HD than on the 16" or so bedroom tube TV) and I told her we can go to bed early tonight (we've been getting like 6 hours of sleep for the last few days). If she'll watch Glee in the bedroom I'll play for an hour.

Heh, I think I'm down to $800,000 or so...at one point (about a week after the game came out) I had around $16 million

Trying to make sure that money glitch was reproducable huh? ;)

It seems in the past it's always slowed down around the holidays and my mother-in-law just past away. I'm still planning on coming back though. For a bit Wed isn't that good for me, just can't go through single player for the $ to get a car ready when I'll only use for maybe 30 mins.

I'll be more than happy to get you a Talon for tonight Hopeless. I'll even put a full custom paint on it for ya, and you can sell it for some cash when you are done with it.

I'm sorry to hear about your MIL passing. I just lost my best friend of 25 years 2 weeks ago and gained 2 wonderful girls as I was the Godfather to her children. None of it is ever easy it seems. I wish I could catch a break one of these days. Hope things get back to normal for you soon man.

Yeah things have been a little hectic in the blowfish household as well. I just haven't had much time to game and when I have I worked on finish Batman AA late at night -- really dig this game.

Working my a$$ off to keep business up so we don't have to let anyone go. A new gas client that is forcing me and my partner (sister) to work a lot of OT to catch up their work.

Family wise everyone is good albeit that my MILs cancer is back. My wife's grandfather's cancer has spread and now it looks like they will need to take his hand (already took his thumb). This damn cancer thing SUCKS!

On a good note my kids and wife are great. My son came off his best soccer season yet as he was a scoring machine this year (has usually been shy about mixing it up but not this season). Kids are kicking ass and taking names in school on the grades so I couldn't be happier. We managed to get all our x-mas shopping done and pretty much got what the kids had asked for even in the bad economy. It hurt a little but they are worth it.

If I can make it tonight I will. Correct me if I am wrong that we are running a C425 Talon??

Good to hear from you Blowfish! Even if you're not racing I like knowing that everyone's doing well. Sorry to hear about all the cancer. My MIL's lifelong best friend passed away two weeks ago from cancer. Also, in the last two months both my MIL and my father were tested for suspected Pancreatic cancer, thankfully both came back clean.

As far as I know tonight is the C class Talon.

Sorry to hear about the cancer blow, my MIL just lost her battle with it. Started as breast cancer, spread to her bones and just recently got into her brain. She went down hill fairly quick after that. Because of this everyone is wearing some pink to her memorial service.

Congrats to the kiddos, always nice to hear a bit of good news.

C425 sounds good but...

http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/b...-movember-to-remember-huge-update-inside.aspx

From Last week's auto-update patch. As a Forza racer, I'm enjoying the driver shift animations in cockpit view. As Turn 10's community manager, I'm loving the fact that we patched up some holes in the game that allowed users to glitch their way into becoming gazillionaires. Since we've always been able to see in great detail everything you've ever done in the game related to credits and how you earn/retrieve your credits in both single-player and multiplayer, we are now actively scouring our userbase for credit glitchers. We've identified just over a hundred players who have clearly used the money glitch, and they will be dealt with swiftly. Our system also automatically flags for us anyone with a suspicious amount of money doing suspicious gifting of expensive cars (or repeated cars) and bidding up unicorrns in the Auction House. Sorry, we hate to be a Big Brother about this whole thing but it's the only way to keep everyone honest. If you can't play by the rules on our servers, you'll be perm banned. And finally, speaking of bans, we're going to clean up the Time Trials leaderboards with glitched recorded times.

You sure you aren't banned? :(

I hope not. Kabob said earlier that, upon discovering the money glitch, he reported it to Turn 10 and made sure not to tell anyone else how to do it.

It's entirely possible he saved up 16M cr. legitimately. Just from looking at his gamertag, he seems to play a lot more than most of us.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass as I haven't had the game in the xbox except when I installed the second disc and get the bonus cars / tracks for buying it new. I even remembered to grab the free hyundai car pack the other night.

I swear, every Wednesday night since Forza 3 has came out I've had exams/schoolwork due on Thursday (lab report and project due tomorrow :(). I'm still pretty new to Forza in general and it would be nice to have a decent group of people I know to race with. I've just been doing a few public races here and there and I always get rammed off the road and/or I always get my butt handed to me. I'm planning on getting a wheel during Christmas and next semester my schedule should open up on Wednesday nights, so definitely expect to see me there.

chris did u get an invite tonight? i think i have you on my friend list. a way to public race is to get to the front early, it usually is a brawl from 3rd place and below, dont try to run people off the road, but don't worry about bumping them too much.

I got an invite while I had a movie playing in the background, but there's no way I could of joined you guys tonight, way too much to do.

In pubs, I noticed that it's sometimes better either be really fast off the starting line or really slow. Everyone tends to crash in the first turn and if your slow and behind, you can just navigate through the wreckage unscathed and come out a few positions ahead. I don't usually try to bump other people and I try to make passes only if they are clean. The majority of people in public races don't seem to follow my etiquette though.

Sorry I didn't join in last night. My wife told me I was getting off AT 8 so she could watch Glee. I accidentally left the Xbox on for a few mins after so if you sent an invite I didn't know it.

We went to bed right after the show was over, we were both whipped.

No, only one of you is whipped. :D

Had fun last night. Was only 4 of us. Quik, Famous, Blowfish, and myself. We ran the Talon like it was going out of style! Good little car though. I enjoyed it. Level 13! Lookout!

It's entirely possible I've been zapped, I've not checked in a while. I've only got a few hundred thousand $$ on my account ATM (Course, if they look at the value of my garage they'd see it's worth like $100,000,000), hopefully they won't nuke me but I won't blame them if they do, I abused the system (even if I didn't tell anyone else how to do so nor do I plan on singlehandedly blasting the auction house).

Yeah, I didn't make it last night because a couple of my friends invited me over for some Halo 3 and pizza and I flaked out on them last time they invited me so I really had to go. I did have a good time but I wish I didn't always get asked to hang out on Wednesdays. I have to come up with a better excuse for why I'm gone on Wednesdays than "I want to play games online with some guys who enjoy games other than Halo" (I already have dodgeball on Thursdays).

OK, so I threw the disc in and fired Forza 3 up and it "looks" like I'm not banned (knock on wood). I can access the storefront, auction house, join online races (although when I checked this morning there were only like 1100 people racing online), and receive gift cars (umm, thanks for the Fiat Quik).

I don't know what criteria they use to find people, but my total winnings are $2.4 million and I've only got $1.4 million in my bank. Maybe that's the search criteria. Or maybe they found me but gave me a pass as I reported the glitch to them in the first place, who knows.

True, but what I assume they're doing is looking for people who have say $2 million total winnings and $40 million in their bank accounts.
